Sitcoms

Having ma hols right now...Been watching all the series i normally watch all over agn from the beginning...:)..What better time than now to make a list of ma favourite sitcoms in order of preference..:)

1)FRIENDS-This series is one of the best series i have ever watched.Humor,romance,drama...this series has it all...And it gives equal justice to all the genres..It is a story of six friends Monica Geller(Courtney Cox),Ross Geller(David Schwimmer),Chandler Bing(Mathew Perry),Joey Tribianni(Matt Le Blanc),Rachel Green(Jennifer Aniston) and Phoebe Buffay(Lisa Kudrow) and all that happens in their life through the 10 years that it aired..Hope the rumoured FRIENDS movie is true..:)..Would love to see the six friends all in their forties by now...Would be a great to see the turn of events in their lives..:)

2)How i Met your mother-The main character, Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor), in the year 2030 recounts to his son and daughter the events that led to his meeting their mother, which explains the title. The series follows Ted alongside his friends Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan), Marshall Eriksen (Jason Segel), Robin Scherbotsky (Cobie Smulders), and Barney Stinson (Neil Patrick Harris).Personally my favourite character in HIMYM is Barney...He's funny,he's cute, and above all he always steps up for his friends...:)

3)Royal Pains-This is a series starring Hank Lawson(Mark Feuerstein) as a young emergency room doctor who, after being wrongly blamed for an important patient's death, moves to the Hamptons and becomes a reluctant "doctor for hire" to the rich and famous. When the administrator of the local hospital asks him to treat the town's less fortunate, he finds himself doing good for all the town people. The series is based on actual concierge medicine practices of independent doctors. To aid Hank are his brother,Evan Lawson(Paulo Costanzo) and Divya Katdare(Reshma Shetty). The treatments Hank give his patients are exceptionally interesting to watch.

4)Big Bang theory-The show is centered on five characters: two geniuses, Leonard Hofstadter(Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper(Jim Parsons); their neighbor across the hallway Penny(Kaley Cuoco), an attractive waitress and aspiring actress;Howard Wolowitz(Simon Helberg), and Rajesh Koothrappali(Kunal Nayyar). The geekiness and intellect of the four guys is contrasted for comic effect with Penny's social skills and common sense.

5)CSI-Though I havent watched all the seasons till date,it is a really interesting series.Murder mysteries set in 3 different places...Miami,New York and Las Vegas....

6)Cougar Town-I started watching this series only coz i came to know Courtney Cox stars in it...However found myself pretty addicted to the series which is why it has earned a mention in my fave sitcoms list...:)..The series focuses on a recently divorced Joules(Courtney Cox) in her forties facing the often humorous challenges, pitfalls and rewards of life's next chapter, along with her son Travis(Dan Byrd), ex-husband Bobby(Brian Van Holt), and friends Ellie Torres(Christa Miller),Andy Torres(Ian Gomez),Laurie(Busy Philipps) and Grayson(Josh Hopkins) who together make up her dysfunctional, but supportive and caring extended family.

7)Modern Family-The story follows the families of Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill), his daughter Claire Dunphy (Julie Bowen), and his son Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson). Claire is a homemaker mother married to Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell); they have three children—Haley (Sarah Hyland), Alex (Ariel Winter), and Luke (Nolan Gould). After splitting with his longtime wife, Jay has re-married with a much younger Colombian woman, Gloria Delgado-Pritchett (SofĂa Vergara), and is helping her raise her son, Manny (Rico Rodriguez). Mitchell and his gay partner Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet) have adopted a Vietnamese baby, Lily. This series is a very homely series and has a realistic take on life.

8)Mike and Molly-The series follows two people, Mike Biggs(Billy Gardell), a police officer who wants to shed some pounds, and Molly Flynn(Melissa McCarthy), a fourth-grade teacher wanting to embrace her curves, who meet at an Overeaters Anonymous group and become an unlikely pair.Honestly i kinda started getting bored in the last few episodes...:(..Hope the next season gets interesting...what with all the wedding preparations and their crazy families!!

Well,so these were a list of ma fave sitcoms...:)
